Marion was born and raised in Minnesota.  She has two children, James (26) is married to Elise (26) and they have a four children, Lydia, Charlotte, Avery and Ruth.  James works as a tile setter and is proudly serving in the military. Olivia (23) is working as a Radiologist Technician and living in Minneapolis. Both of her children graduated from Buffalo High School.

Marion has worked for several non-profit organizations including Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge where she was a Director. She has worked at a CPA firm doing business accounting and tax preparation, and for five years she owned her own small business in the construction trades.

Marion has a BS in Applied Psychology with a minor in Chemical Dependency from Bemidji State University and a Masters Degree in Family and Marital Counseling from Regent University.
